Certain factors can greatly influence the appeal to different genders of a post 16 educational establishment, such as the type of courses offered. The table below shows the establishments attended, as of 1st November 2016, by the Year 11 leavers from Testwood Sports College who continued in full-time education at establishment level.

This data is only for the five most popular establishments. Year 11 leavers also attended Eastleigh College, Sparsholt College, Itchen College, Peter Symonds College, and Carillion Construction Centre.

All Testwood leavers in 2016 went onto colleges of further education with 87% of leavers going to 6th Form Colleges or FE Colleges to study Level 3 A Level or Level 3 Technical qualifications. This is an increase of 6% compared to 2015. The majority of the remainder, 10%, opted to follow apprenticeships.
