We also offer the opportunity for pupils to opt in to our nationally recognised Young Leader and Young Ambassador programmes where pupils learn how to lead younger children in sports events and help them to develop skills and a passion for sport.  Additionally, pupils also have the opportunity to complete a range of highly successful examination courses & qualifications including:

Key Stage 3 (Years 7, 8 & 9)

Pupils are taught the fundamental skills, tactics and compositional ideas behind performance during Key Stage 3.

Invasion Games: Rugby, Football, Basketball, Netball, Hockey, Handball.

Aesthetics: Gymnastics, Dance.

Striking & Fielding: Cricket, Rounders, Softball.

Net Games: Badminton, Table Tennis.

Key Stage 4 (Years 10 & 11)

During Key Stage 4 the objective is to provide pupils with an opportunity to participate in a range of sporting activities with the objective of them adopting an active lifestyle as they begin to enter adulthood. Advanced skills and tactics are taught with the aim of developing performance to a high level.

Invasion Games: Rugby, Football, Basketball, Netball, Hockey, Handball, American Football, Ultimate Frisbee, Dodgeball.

Aesthetics: Gymnastics, Dance, Aerobics.

Striking & Fielding: Cricket, Rounders, Softball, Nigerian Thunderball, Skolulu.

Net Games: Badminton, Table Tennis, Volleyball, Tennis.
