Special Educational Needs & Disabilities

Testwoods Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Offer.

Welcome to Testwoods SEND pages. We hope you will enjoy reading about the variety of ways in which the college is able to support SEND students to reach their full potential.

The Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCo) at Testwood is:

Mrs Sarah Buxton
02380 862146
Our Governor with responsibility for SEND is: Graham Pike

Every student at Testwood School has the opportunity to follow all National Curriculum subjects as well as following an appropriate curriculum pathway for their GCSEs.
We are committed to narrowing the attainment gap between students with SEND and those who have not. This may include before/after school interventions, short-term intervention programmes, home-school intervention programmes or other learning interventions which are developed based on an individual’s needs.
Testwood has good attendance as students want to come to School to experience our high quality learning environment.
If your child has a disability and you would like to know more about what we offer please contact us on 02380 862146
