Home Study
A school closure obviously has the potential to reduce the progress that students make. In order to mitigate the impact of missed lessons, our teachers will endeavour to set appropriate work for students over the internet and we would expect that students complete this work. Obviously, there may be specific circumstances where this is not possible, but we ask for your support in keeping students focused on their school work during this time.
Providing they have internet access at home, students will be able to access the work set by their teachers using Google Classroom. Most students should be very familiar with this but there is information on how to access Google Classroom on p.16/17 (KS 3) or p.14/15 (KS 4) of their planners if they or you are unsure.
Students may need to look at their school gmail accounts for invitations from their teachers to ‘join’ their classes. They will need to click on this link in order to access the work set. They can also email their teachers if they are unsure about the work set.
You can log into Google Classroom using the link below.
